What are the pre-requisite knowledge and skills? 
How do we elicit students’ prior knowledge and skills? 
If pockets of students do not have the prior knowledge, what actions should we take to close the gaps? 
How ready are our students for SDL/CoL? 
How much scaffold do we have to provide for our students? 
C. Motivational Activities:
Activities may stimulate the students thinking and creative activities
How do we get the students motivated, curious and ready to learn? 
How is the topic introduced? 
What tuning-in activities are used to arouse students’ interest or curiosity? 

D. Lesson Development 
- support/scaffold students’ learning? (e.g. for brainstorming, discussion and negotiation, knowledge
